Teaching English & American Culture in China 2012
Program DescriptionThis program is designed to bring native English speakers to to teach English to Chinese students ranging from about elementary through junior high school. Your role will be to share American culture and to build students’ confidence in speaking English. During this program, you will have your own classes of 25-30 students or team teach with a partner for a combined class. You need to develop a curriculum outlining the topics and plans for all sessions. In addition, you will participate with the students in several cultural activities. Program Compensation
Program Fees - $350This includes application, placement, materials, training, and orientation. Program Tour ExtensionThree to four day excursions to Beijing and Shanghai will be offered prior to and/or following the program. Approximate additional cost for both will be around or under $500.
